Just ordered a Nord 61 because after listing to the demo of the B3 and reading the reviews it seemed like a good idea. I will use my PSR3000 and Midjay for background. This may give me a chance to stimulate some of my right hand chops from my past Hammond days.
BTW, when you say "Nord 61", are you referring to the "Nord Electro 61"? I am asking because this is considered the best model for the sounds I just mentioned.

The model is the Clavia Nord Electro Keyboard (61-Key) (New, Version 2) hope it lives up to my expectations. Hank
Congrats !! you got one of the best "H" emulating boards, it may not look like one, but the SOUND....is Incredible...and that Leslie emulation...!! Enjoy it a LOT!.

The Nord is all I hoped for, the key feel and overall emulations are unbelievable. A close friend who has a B3 in his house said this was as close to key feel and Hammond sound he has heard. I need a stand to hold my PSR3000, Nord and Midjay without taking up to much room. Looked at the Z stand with monitor holder and second tier but could use some more ideas. DonM and I are looking at a standstatic stand but UPS lost it and we are still waiting for a replacement.
Hi HankB I use a Quik Lok 726. I have a Roland VK7 on the bottom and a PSR3000 on top. The mic boom is attached to the right side (no floor space used) A shelf on the bottom holds a sub. A pc keyboard pull out is beneath the VK7. A monitor rack could be used on the left side of the stand. This stand is rock solid, but not very portable. Smokey

On the 4th I went to a party here in Ventura with a band playing. The keyboard player, Jon Greathouse, was using a Nord Electro 2 and it blew me away how good it sounded emulating B3, Rhodes/Wurly and Clavinet. He is a great player combined with a hot sound. You certainly won't regret getting this keyboard. It is state of the art for emulating organ and electric piano. I am thinking seriously about adding one of these to my Motif 6 to use in my rock cover band.
