Last night after I played at my daughters big Graduation bash at my dance club, which by the way I had the honor of having Fran & his lovely wife sitting front row table-side ....we had a great time about 175 people....Fran upon request brought his Traynor K4 KB Amp....so I could get a chance to check it out in real time on stage after the gig.....I was very impressed! this baby has a lot of guts and a great stereo sound which can cover a big room 50 - 200 people no problem ....best all in one KB amp Ive heard to date, the Tube feature really warms up the mix, KB Music & Vocals loud clear and crisp also with nice separation due to the great Multi Speaker, check out the specs ....
Im thinking of getting one soon myself for my small/med gigs.....keeping the stereo in an all in one and using my Mackie system for the biggies...or even adding the K4 to them for a real interesting setup.....if you get a chance check this baby out I think you'll LIKE what you hear .....more to come..!

When Fran said he played thru a Traynor amp I imagined an older amp, not this newfangled thing. Wow! I see it is related to the Yorkville line; does Yorkville have a similar amp?

And it's 57 pounds heavy - that's heavy. Put that with his 45 lb. G70 and he's lifting some good weight at his gigs.

Yorkville makes a 50/100/and 200 watt mono amps..They use to have a 300 watt stereo amp[I used it for 5 years]...but the only stereo amp now is the K4..Traynor is a Yorkville distributed company..

The K4 weighs 50 pounds...the Old Yorkville K300 weighed 75 pounds..

The K4 is very well balanced ....easy to carry or put on a rock n roller kart no problem...believe me its worth EVERY POUND!!!.....instead of carrying TWO speakers for STEREO on smaller venues.

Dennis, I had an experience a few yrs ago with the Motion sound 100, Im sure if you do a search on SZ you'll revisit our thoughts & they weren't good.......Believe its not even in the same class as the Traynor K4.

oh okay, fair enough... i heard them in the dealers (where i get most keyboard stuff) and they sounded pretty good, i am talking about the stereo model and the model number was 200, not 100 as i recall, plus it was using the sub box too, so i dont know if thats making the difference....the price here was about $2500 (around 1900US)..
cheers

.....just wanted to put my mind at ease, so i called the shop...the setup they have for demoing keyboards there is: a sub, then on top of that the 200, and then on top the 100, so no wonder it sounded good...i only heard the whole system not the individual components...

Donny/Fran, how separated does the stereo sound live? I can't tell from looking at the photo, but are the speakers positioned at an outward-facing angle (like the motion sound) to project some separation and give a true stereo picture?
