the ketron cable you so kindly offered to give me, a couple of weeks ago,arrived today.

After having to wait 3 months, I've finally managed to get my sd1 hooked up to my laptop for file data transfer. It's going to make back up so much easier.
My dealer here in Aust. didn't have them, and Don , kindly came to the rescue.
So thank you, thank you, thank you,

You are welcome! I actually had two of them, and the other is for Tom Cavanaugh because he bought the SD1 from me. I forgot to put it in the box, so he can pick it up at the jam.
If you need it before that Tom, let me know.
Someone, I think Manuel, gave me one, so I'm just passing it along!

Hi Don,
I think Tom may be away at the moment.
Just in case he's never bothered to hook his keyboard to a computer before, for direct transfer of files ie styles , midifiles etc
the software & driver are downloadble from the net.
It's so great not having to use floppy disks for transfer & back up.

Jose, your ex cable will be a tresured possesion. My roland/yamaha serial cables just didn't work. They kept locking up the computer . Must be a difference in the wiring. I was beginning to worry that maybe something was wrong with my sd1. So great releif that I'm up & running.
