Hi everyone ,

When you play 3 chromatic tones you get chord-cancel on the Tyros.
en the drums are still playing.

But when you play 4 chromatic tones you get chord-cancel and you can still
play the bass while the drums is playing!
Always the bottom tone of the cluster will sound as the bass .
so you can play a short bass loop in this chord-cancel!!

I read the previous messages and was pleased that this option is on the 2k....Can someone tell me what is or are chromatic tones? I am anxious to try it but I don't know what I am supposed to do!!!

This was news to me. And I find it also works on the PSR 740. Neat.

It means hit any three adjacent notes in the auto-accomp. section while a style is playing. For example C, C# and D. Everything stops but the drums.

And if you hit 4 adjacent notes, like C + C# + D + D#, everything except the drums AND bass gets cancelled out. It's cool.
