Gotta love those faders for the 8 accomp channel volumes.

one thing i am not too sure about though is for the styles and sound categories, you need to switch to get to the bottom batch. why couldn't they just add the extra row of buttons??

Good question...
Also... just two fill-ins (and a break-fill)? No wonder that the transition is not smooth...

Good question...

Are the fills tied to what variation you are in (and you get a choice of two - VERY good idea!), or are there really only two fills and a Break/Fill per style?

For a four variation style, that doesn't seem like enough, especially compared to others that have four to seven fills...

You get 3 per variation (fill/2/break) plus if you press the button twice quickly it loops the variation. plus you can set it up so that a fill goes straight to whatever variation you want, or just follow the factory default.

just to clarify the above, when you press the "FILL" button twice quickly it loops the fill, thats what I meant to say.

hi Donny,
Yeah I know!!! thats what I was saying...Korg give you plenty to choose from, and are very flexible when it comes to what you actually want to do.
