OK folks,

just got of the phone with my friend and he confirmed that we'll have the clubhouse and pool.

Since it is already May and people need enough advance notice we were thinking that we could do it over the 4th of July weekend.
The forth will be on a Tuesday; that will give people a long weekend to play with.
The jam could be on the 1st and 2nd of July which is the Saturday and Sunday before the 4th.

The plan is to collect a little money so that we can barbecue, play some music and hang out at the pool in between....

The neighbors might participate in the barbecue and listen to our music.
So be prepared to have a little audience.
It's good practice.

All are welcome.

It should be lots of fun...

So who is in?
I need some confirmations at this time.

Looking forward to some overwhelming response...

That works for us. We can bop on down on Friday, be there for Sat, Sun, and Mon and book on home on Tuesday or even Wed.

Hi Eric: Wow, this looks to be a FUN-FILLED 'not to missed' arranger kb music + P-O-O-L P-A-R-T-Y event for sure. Unfortunately (for me), I'm already booked that weekend, as well as on the 4th itself. Though I fully understand that clubhouse availability, as well as time off available to you & your friend are limited, please keep in mind that: Independence, Memorial, & Labor Day weekends, are typically the busiest summer gig periods for musicians.
Ok, please take plenty of pics and video footage to share with us. I wish I could be there with you all because I so fondly remember the terrific fun we had at our 1st West Coast SZ jam at Bebop's place in San Jose, back in 2004. - Scott

Unfortunately it is a private party that has hired us to play.

Ok folks,

I wanted to wait until the end of the weekend to see whether there will be more confirmations.

So far none.
We have Bebop and Nigel as the only ones so far.

That means there won't be a jam.
Why?

Here is what I'm thinking: Wrong date or wrong place, or no interest.

Anyways; here are a couple of suggestions to get the ball rolling again:
1. We could do it in August instead of July if enough people commit and if we get the clubhouse then.
2. We could put it back to San Jose if that is what more people want.
3. Or we just cancel because of lack of interest.

Since it is the weekend and everybody has had plenty of time to read the post and check their calendars, I will wait until tomorrow.
If there is no interest I will tell my friend to cancel the clubhouse since we have to have a commitment. He went through great lenght to make this happen and he is not even a Synthzone member

If people rather do it in N California instead that would be fine too.
