Does anyone know if the wk2 oriental floppy drive can be replaced with a regular floppy...or does it have to be from GEM made for the wk2?
Either way, how much does it cost? I contacted GEM long time ago, but they were not too helpful.

I am selling my WK2 and need to fix this problem asap.

Thanks

It's a standard 1.44Mb floppy drive. Check the cables and connectors before disconnecting your old one.

Good luck!

Thank you very much, but what is it I am looking for when I check the cables and connectors?

Thanks

How they are connected
I remeber plugging in my hd and after disconnecting, I couldn't tell how to reconnect the IDE calbe; there was no up/down sign on the cable.

Don't worry; nothing will be destroyed... the only thing is if the cables are not connected well, the diskdrive won't work.
