I have a GEM WK2-OR for which I made some really nice orietnal styles/sounds. My disk drive went bad before I got to back them up. Is there a way to back them up without my disk drive? maybe via midi or something?

All you need is a sequencer type of software on your PC, to download your WK2's SYS Exclusive Info to it. and then put that on a floppy for back up or you can keep it on your hard drive, so you can reload your WK2 , in case you lost your info.
Cakewalk 9.0 pro works good for me. there are some demo software that you can download from the Cakewalk.com sight.
Also you need a midi interphase cable that will connect the Wk2 midi in\out ports to your joystick/gameport on your PC.
