Who are your favorite vocal performers here at SZ..
Here are my favorites in no special order.
I base my selections on their ability to sell the song..

Songman55..It doesn't hurt that Joe plays a G1000

DonM... Don is the best country entertainer, and not just limited to SZ.

DNJ...Donny is smooth and knows the right tunes.

The wolf...Easy to listen to, with clear diction..

UD...Dave is the best using his own spin on a tune..

TonyRome...Tony has the Bennet quality, that people can listen all day..

There are a couple guys in the UK and Denmark [I don't recall their names], that are also on my list...

Let's hear from other SZ people.

Scott Yee has to be in your top 10
He is in mine, along with the others you have already mentioned.

Also, I remember someone named "Rich"(I think). Am I correct about this? Can someone verify a guy named "Rich" who is a great singer, and has a nice MP3 website?

Could there be a place on the Zone where everyones demos/links are all put into one pool, so we could easeily listen and compare (competitition is a good thing), as well as learn new things and comment?

Larry I didn't forget Scott..vocally I have Scott in my second group[If we are talking top ten],it would be my second group of ten..
Actually there are a lot of people in my second group...like Travelin Easy[Gary], the fella from UK[Korg PA50]..I would have to search to find names..

I remembered the "Rich" singer I was trying to think of. His name is Richard Child from England, and his recording of " He'll Have To Go" is remarkable.

I wonder what's become of him, for his website hasn't been updated in a while, and I haven't noticed any post's from him on the SynthZone in a while.

Fran, I just came from your website. Your also up there with the best of them, it must be something in the Pennsylvania air.

Actually, I enjoy all singers who are willing to showcase their talent for us to hear and critique. Each of you are special and unique in your own way, which makes it hard to pick out a favorite.

I need to mention Gary, another favorite of mine. Hey, ya never know, I might be in his will too.

SeeYa
Larry

Don Mason is at the top of my list and the rest are also quite good too.
BEBOP & JANN who really loves Don's work. Maybe it is because they both are from a town named Benton. Don in LA and Jann in KY
Jann thinks Don is Jim Reeves, incarnated
Good Topic Fran.
Bebop
I now have to add Tony, Scott, and Joe to the top of my list also.
In fact lets just throw away the list Fran, All these guys are the best

We can't forget the golden tones of Eddie Shoemaker.

Zalman, there was a place that had some of our stuff on it. A member from Hawaii set it up. He went by the name of Mr. Bulk. I believe the stuff is still available on that site. The trouble is I can't remember what the site name was. It had iuma in the url.

Donny do you remember the site address?

Never mind I found it. Here it is:

Hi Terry,

Nice video.

To post MP3's in a thread, you need to provide a direct link to the MP3 from your host's website. It's explained in the SynthZone FAQ's

It may be better to just provide your homepage link that include your MP3's.
Good Luck.
I look forward to your songs
Thanks
Larry

Hi Larry. Thanks for your reply. The songs on my web site home page and Calendar page are actually mp4s.My freind who did my video had to convert them to video stream in order to post them on my site as i don't have mp3 hosting with my web host provider.I am not really sure why it had to be done this way as he is a lot more computer savvied than me.I had told him I would like a couple of my recordings to play when the page opened up and I sent him the mp3s of butterfly kisses and release me from my cd.He could not insert them as mp3 so this was the solution he came up with.I have enjoyed many of the songs posted on synthzone by other members and wanted to share some of my own also. to do it if I can keep from cryring while doing it.God Bless and thank you for sharing

I have no favorite performer here. Everyone has their own style and being able to hear those individual performances makes each song diverse. I just love to hear them!

These recordings have made a true SZ Concert for me. All of you are so talented I have been listening to your music for days!

The holidays are apon us, I need to hear my favorites. "I'll be Home for Christmas" Anyone? everyone? I would love to hear it done by the top 10!

BRAVO to all of you! Keep them coming!

I would do it for you, but Fran put me in the bottom 20 category. That's why he's not gettin' my PAS or my sailboat when I kick the bucket! It's among my favorite songs as well.

Hi Glen. Thanks for the compliment. But I have to own up to this particular recording. The Backing was in fact an old Karaoke track that I had.I just recorded it on to my Roland vs880 and added my vocal.I will however post some other tracks from time to time done on my PA80 OR PSR 2000 or a combination of both.I also use a Midjay and an Edirol sc 8820.Plus a Fatar studio 610 midi control keyboard.By The way Pinellas park is in St.Petersburg Florida.
