Hello everybody,

I use My keyboard with Steinberg Cubase (music software: both midi and audio). In cubase, it accepts script for all the sounds for particular brand name keyboards and sound module.

I have created one for Sk880. But I was not able to include the list of all the drumkits because this is too much work. I wonder if somebody has created one so I can port it.

Thanks

I don't use cubase, but if the script is in ASCI (plain text) , you could try the patch for cakewalk and just copy and paste into cubase.
Some of the users might have a wk8patch for cakewalk.

I use cakewalk and unfortunately it doesn't come with an instrument definition for my wk8. I've only done limited midi recording with the wk8 as I'm still in the honeymoon stage with the wk8's sequencer. I know it's not as full featured as cakewalk or cubase but it's nice to be able to come up with song ideas and not even turn the computer on. I did make a map for my Ensoniq Mr. Rack when I still had it. It took quite a while to type in all the patches and banks, etc. Somebody out there has probably made a cubase map for the sk880. I'll do some searching and if I find one I'll report back. l8tr g8tr's
