The word is out buddy. You have your new T2. As they say in court "what say you"? It should take you no time at all to record some of your songs on it so we can all hear you and your new found love.

Going by the current M.O. of most new T2 owners here, I wouldn't expect to see Scott surface too quickly.

Donny, Please don't start to taunt him...you know that it's the same as Uncle Dave....you get very busy with a new love and it takes priority over your friends....
just be a little more understanding of our dear friend and I'm sure he will come up for air after the love making.....hehehe

Ok guys. Been up all night playing T2, and woke up today with a lousy cold . Even so, I promise to be back asap with a T2 demo or two; just as soon as I can tear myself away from playing it. - Scott

Update: Ok folks. what started out as a mild cold, accompanied by a sore throat and slight laryingytis has gotten worse. Not only have I lost my voice, but Ive now got aches and chills too. My doctor assured me it's not the bird flu, but hasn't ruled out Tyro2situs. Will have to give you all a raincheck for a few more days b4 posting demos & or any detailed T2 review, though I assure you, it's 'very positive' overall.

In the meantime, I only expect (and encourage) other new Tyros2 keyboard owners here to come forward & share their Tyros2 recorded songs. Ok, I'm getting back to bed now. - Scott

Scott, you might not believe this but I also had a really bad flu as soon as I got my Tyros 2! (though I didn't try the bird sound effect bank, honestly!)

Get better soon, Scott and as your doctor no doubt told you, get some rest. I'll bet you were burning the candle at both ends when your T2 arrived and now your body's telling you to ease up a bit.

Looking forward to hearing your new stuff.

Well I have to say my Genesys XP didn't make me sick.

The way some of us like to hype our keyboards might bring a response like Yeah the T2 is a great keyboard but it's been known to cause colds, flu, sore throats, laringytis, and the shits. Better buy the XYZ brand till Yamaha gets the sick stuff sorted out.

LMAO

Not laughing about anyone being sick but about the irony of this situation.

I hope you folks feel better soon and I
look forward to hearing your demo's.

Jerry

Hey guys and gals - I just heard that all new T2's are being delivered w/ a warning label.... something like:

WARNING: The Surgeon General has determined that exposure to this keyboard has been known to cause serious illness, including laryngitis, aches, fever, numbness to extremities, and other “flu-like” conditions such as the “runs” and “shits”. Use this device at your own risk and only after consulting with your doctor!”

--- I'm thinking about getting a serious checkup before taking delivery! HA HA HA!

Now that my half-baked (post-hurricane season - YEA!) sense of humor has been vented...

Seriously Scott - hope you feel better soon and get to cranking those demo's for all us who are not currently in "T2-Heaven"...
