Hi friends,

Next week i have a va 76 at home for six months from the "roland company Benelux".
I will make some demo's on this instrument.
Anyone know's a good site to upload them.
I have in the past make some demo's on the site "greatcanada" but this site give's always "error" problems for the webdrive.
can some people give me some advice about good "free" web-drive's.
Regards,
Notlos. http://www.mp3.com/dirkbaert

I played one today, at length.
The results:
No major improvements in any area. A few more buttons, a few more keys, still NO mic input (a REAL one, anyway)same sounds as the VA7.
It's a nice board, but almost 50 lbs with NO speakers or harmonizer...... naw.
If you like the G1000 - the keys will fell comfy to you, but the button layout will leave a little to be desired. The scat vocals are still the highlight of this sound set, for me. The VA7 sounds every bit as good, so if you don't need the extra keys - I see almost no advantage in upgrading.
The navigation is improved for live play, but there is still too much "touch screen" needed for real time play. This is a great sounding studio kb. There are two pairs of audio outs, but no SCZI, and no USB - it's kind of old news already, and at this price.... I'd want more outboard options (hard drive, harmonizer - that stuff)
End result - I like it, but not a whole lot more than the VA7. It's definatly better, but the big question is HOW MUCH better .....?
Better play this one at length before you buy.

Thanks for your advice Dreamer !!
To uncle dave:
Yes you'll right about the little differences between this two models(va7/76).
* 76 keys vs 61 keys
* buttons for upper1/2 lower 1/2 on va 76
* pad1/2 buttons on va 76
* no speakers on va 76 (like the most 76keys
keyboards)
For people who plays the piano it is a great
future to have 76 keys on this keyboard.
Greetings,
Notlos
