Hey, New Yorker, what do you think? It still looks like "toy keys " to me. I don`t mind the 2000, but I sure wish it had better keys. I would have gladly paid more than I did for better keys. The 2000 does have strong pionts but good or bad you still have to get past those "darn keys" and lousy action. Last week I played a "Karma" now if the 2000 had keys like that ,then it might very-well be an excelant`e KB! If the "Tyros" has the same keys & action , whats the piont? I know it`s got a bunch more stuff but with bad keys it could have the moon and still not please me

That's funny jedi, cuz i still think the Karma is a compromised keypad too. The Triton had the best action going, and they weakened it in the "le" lineup.
My favorite "feels" so far are:
9000pro/Triton (same keys)
SD1
Motif
Fantom

These all have a nice, tight resistance with a spring acxtion that you can "dig into" without fear. I miss that.

The 9000PRO keys are imho THE greatest.!

I bought 9000 only a couple of months ago and then made the mistake of trying out the PRO. Too late now but I would have bought the PRO if I had waited just a couple more days. I think the PRO keys are superb for touch. Any others feel like house bricks

cheers

The Triton keypads are made by Yamaha, while the Karma keypad is made by Fatar. I would guess the Triton, Motif, and 9000Pro use the same keypads. My own feeling is that the Karma action feels a little cheap compared to the more costly Yamaha action.

There is no price, because it is not ready for production, much less for sale, because it is only a prototype, because Yamaha starts marketing products before they are even invented.
