I just turned on my T2 and the only thing that happened was the Tyros Logo in the LCD came on and nothing else.....has anyone had the same problem or does anyone know of a fix for the problem???? e-mail me ...post or call me on Skype tonyrome1 thank you....

The one thing I forgot about when I just talked with you on the phone is if the T2 has a hard drive installed, it may be the culprit. Remove the hard drive and try booting up the keyboard again after it has been removed. If the hard drive has a problem and the keyboard is searching for the drive but cannot find it, the same probolem will occur.

I emailed you, but, be sure your power supply is adequate. Other than that, it could be the hard drive, as Gary suggested. I think the warranty is still in effect, if bad becomes worse.

have you tried a system reset(i think holding the farthest right while turning the power on)

Thanks Guys....I've tried it all and no luck
so now my next move is to look for a Yamaha dealer some where in Mexico to get a new mother board.....$$$$$$....if it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.....

It's only 7 or 8 months old, came from Musician's Friend and should still be in warranty.
