Just a note to thank you for the KF90 - the Fed ex guy delivered it across our long driveway which had just washed out in torrential rains leaving 1 foot deep ruts - never thought I'd pray for snow!!

This is a fine instrument - geared for every skill level except 'super tweaker'. Nice sounds - good roland action - extraordinarly easy to use style creator -

I will definitely miss some of the Ketron features. But I will not miss those countless rows of buttons even if I did learn where they were. Touch screen - wow - nice to have it again.

regards

Mike,
I'm glad your new keyboard arrived safely and on time. After looking at all those buttons on the SD1, the KF90 makes you feel more like just playing rather than pushing buttons, doesn't it? Living in Alaska, in all that cold and snow, I'm sure you will get to spend alot of time enjoying the KF.
Regards and thanks,
George Kaye

Congratulations Mike on your purchase from George kaye, great service

I have a KR577 Roland Piano, and this is basically the same instrument, save the weight that is few differences are Polyphony, but with 64 notes available Mike, that's exactly what you get, 64 notes to play with. So compared to other arrangers, which comprise of 4-8 elements to make a tone, and claim 128 notes poly is a wee bit misleading to the uninitiated. At about 38 Kilo's I nearly had one myself, except the fact that I wasn't going far with it. The Composer/Sequencer are different to what I’m used to with Yamaha/Technics etc, but very good nevertheless!.

I’ve had my Piano for a while now, but been that busy this last few months I’ve hardly had chance to fully explore its “inner-most” features! (Be careful with the Voice transformer Mike, gets very scary!. George, have you any idea if these Piano’s fully recognize after-touch? (from sound modules etc?)
