It's a great stand, but pretty heavy. HankB has one for sale--never been opened. He'll make you a great deal.

How heavy is it - the website states 20 lbs. Do you know how much is HankB looking for the stand. Why is he selling it - because of the weight?

The stand is extremely heavy, but like Don said it is a great stand and very well built. I think the one I have is three tiers it’s still in the box it came in. I purchased it from a member a couple of years ago. I had two but sold the other one. I take 50.00 dollars plus shipping but it’s not very light.

If the one you have is three tiers, I'm not interested, but if is the two tier (122ks) I will definitely be interested in it. As I stated before, the website shows it as only 20 lbs which is not much. Because I need two tiers, I need something sturdy and easy to open & close.

I do agree with Donnie it’s a beast not for one nighters.

Hank....in its defense it is a very well heavy duty quality built stand that would be ideal in a studio situation & can easily handle any load or multiple KB's...but for every day transportaion due to its assembly & weight it would be a bit difficult for that frequent In & out gig experience..

If this stand is as heavy as you guys are stating and also complex for one nighters which I have mostly, any other suggestions for 2 tiers. Bottom tier is for TYROS, 2nd tier is for a shelf board which I place a Yamaha 8 channel mixer, wireless mic brains and a shallow SKB rack with a Voicewroks harmonizer and light controller with 8 outlets. I had the on stage x-stand with the 2nd tier adaptor, however, with constant moving, the 2nd tier starts to strip. Any other ideas?? Looking for easy, light and compact.
