I heard his music on a college radio station one night when I was about 11 years old. It changed the way I listened to music and influenced the way I play! If you are into researching music. His story is remarkable. Here is a guy who influenced popular music and the generations that followed.

incredible ray-jll- fats session, thank you!!!!!..but it says taken march 2006 paris, which can't be right..that is somewhere between 15-25 yrs ago, I'd guess, and the presence of paul shaeffer (sp?) makes the paris unlikely..
anybody know the derivation of this?
