Okay, GW-7 boasts a USB connection so you can "keep your GW-7 well stocked with fresh songs and styles" (as it says on the site).....cool....but where can one find these styles!? I'm hunting but not finding. (Except for Roland Brazil, but those don't even mention GW-7, though I would assume it's semi-compatible). Anyone ever find a resevoir of GW-7 styles?

Let me know what format styles the GW-7 identifies and I can lead you from there. I'll send some via email to you now. Let me know if these work.

Id like to know that also......GW7 is a very kool KB........I enjoyed playing it, nice keybed and design although it lacks a few features I would need.

Hey Zuki and Dnj, thanks but the thing is: i don't actually own a GW-7 yet - but want to....so I wanted simply to see what kind of styles would be available when I did. I was a PA-50 owner, and for that, for instance, there was Chez Fabio website, where you couldn't try out all his Korg Styles if you tried....so many! I like having lots to experiment with....but with GW-7 seems like there's no such resevoir. But is there?

Zuki, maybe you can email Dnj what you got and he can check 'em out, since he's actually owns a GW-7. ....(by the way, the GW-7 DOES seem like a great piece, that's why I'm askin' bout all this.)

Ive never owned a GW7 But I did play one a few times..its a great mid level KB for he price with some unique features & great solid keybed..............as it stands its more POP orientated style wise..as far as adding additional syles, Im not too familiar with that process as of yet.

Downloaded and had a look at the GW 7 User Manual, and the only thing it mentions, is that it will accept only .stl files, but actually converts them onboard the instrument to .sth files.
Regarding songs, these are just Midi files and so must have the extension .mid
Hope this helps.

Yeah, i downloaded the manual too, and noticed this mention of ".stl" files. But what i dont get is why I can't find any ".stl" files other than in Roland Brazil, why they seem to be such a rarity, whereas Korg Solton Yamaha etc styles seem to be everywhere!
