A few months ago I bought the DMX and unfortunately I found some bugs in the driver software. Terratec developed a new driver but still not 100% OK.
The DMX works fine with MIDI but harddisk-recording causes clicks and dropouts.
Last week was one of my 'low tolerance'-type weeks and I decided to remove the card.
Now I purchased the Midiman MAudio Audiophile 2496 card !
This device has 2 analog INs, 2 Analog OUTs, a coax digital IN and coax digital OUT + midi..... Perfect for me and guess what :
Pure sound without noise, clicks and not a single dropout.
The B4 sounds much better too !!

Hi Roel,
Sorry to hear of your problems with the DMX soundcard. As you know, I have the M Audio Delta 66 soundcard w Omni I/O box and have been very happy with it, so I'm confident that you'll be happy with your new M Audio soundcard too. I'm curious why you chose the Audiophile 'midi on board' model though, especially since you already have your terrific SD1 to play your midi through. Look forward to hearing your music produced with your new sound card & the Sd1.

I am also very happy with my Audiophile card Roel. I get crystal clean recordings with it and excellent latency when using it in tandem with N track studio's 24 / 96 version and my software and hardware synths / sequencers. I still use my SB Live too, but mainly only for playing soundfont voices.

Hi guys,
Scott :
I need at least one MIDI I/O point

To be honest, I never took notice of the brand Midiman/M-Audio devices until last week my dealer told me about the Audiophile2496. It is a very 'basic' card without huge amounts of inputs/outputs, but it has what we need !!

At this time I'm still 'fighting' with Terratec because I want my money back.

I got my money back ! Yeah !
Last week I started the 'fight' with Terratec about the fact they are not able to solve all problems.
So I came out the store with a BIG smile ha !
