The noon news today mentioned that Dave was involved with a hi-jacking of his van...The same suspect shot [critically] another hi jack victim earlier...he than forced Dave out of his van to switch vehicles...I have not been able to reach Dave yet...If I hear something I will post..

Dave, thank heaven you are safe. The gear is replaceable; you definitely are not.

I hope, you guys are not joking here!?! Sometimes I really don't understand the sense in english texts but I hope that I understand it now. Say, is it real what you've said? UD - carjacked? I don't want to believe it!!! Why UD??? Is he too lucky for this world?

UD, I hope your right again. Sorry to hear about your trouble. Things can be replaced but not your (or anybody else's) life!!!

UD, I am praying thanks that you are ok.
I hope that emotionally all is well also. That kind of thing can be traumatic to anyone, big/small, young/old, male/female.
I keep you as I keep all of the sz members, in my prayers.
Sincerely,

DNJ called and talked with my wife earlier this evening, said Dave got his van and gear back, and the guy who carjacked him was nabbed by the police. The van and gear are OK, Dave had to ID the guy and things are kinda' back to normal, or as normal as they can be after an experience like that.

That is a good ending to this bad ordeal!
I wish all such situations could be ended as well as that one did.
Now, just as long as the guy gets a proper punishment and not just a slap on the wrist.

And I sure hope that he never used the terms midi or gig to UD or he's gonna be in REAL BIG trouble.

(hope that can maybe put a smile back on your face UD)
