On the Tyros, there are three MIDI program numbers. For most of the instruments, only the last two program numbers are used and the first one is 000. On the drums and SA voices however, the first numbers are used.

But on Cubase, it only gives me an option to type in the last two numbers. Does anyone know how to program the first set into Cubase?

Your sound list should show three values - one for Bank MSB, one for Bank LSB and one for PC (program change).

Get a calculator and do the following sum:

Bank MSB x 128 + Bank LSB

The result is the number that goes in Cubase's Bank box. Then the PC number goes in the program box.
