I downloaded the Roland va7 internal styles and I loaded them in to my em2000. but they do not work properly. the sound on the styles comes out of tune or tempo. can this be fixed and I thought the va7 was compatable with the em2000/g1000. can someone help. I don't know if i'm doing something wrong. thanks

mc... Roland VA7 styles play reasonably in my EM2000 apart from the Drums on some styles sound wrong. The reason for this is the VA Series has a newer Drum Bank and also a completely new Voice Bank which is not on the EM2000\G1000.

If you look in the Arranger Voice Edit page most of the ACC's are blank (No Voice Name) so the keyboard will in most cases pick the nearest similar voice. Regarding the Drums I have found if you set the Drum Variation Button to the 1st setting of the choice of 4, then most of the styles will become acceptable but not all.

Its a little bit like converting a style from another manufactures board which has different Voice Banks to your own.
