Hi Larry
Actually I leave my cords plugged into the back of my JBL's and there is really no need for the angled plugs as it is kind of recessed around the jacks.
The other thing I did to make them easier to carry was to take the front speaker plate off and took some nylon belting from a marine supply store, and burned holes through the belting to make room for screws to go through. The end of the belts were singed also. These melted ends keeps them from unravelling.
I then positioned the nylon belt handles over were the screws go between the speaker plate and cabinet and I now have perfectly balanced JBL Eons that I can easily carry at the same time. Without that they are a little off balance trying to carry with the recessed handle the way they come.
If you want to use covers for the JBL Eons, a parachute bag fits perfectly and run about $14.99 apiece, which is about less than half of what JBL wants for theirs.
In general, IMHO, if money is the factor then I guess Logitech makes sense along with a couple other 2.1 or 5.1 systems. If money is not the problem then the JBL Eons will make you very happy with the very nice sound across all frequencies.
Best
