Hi All,

Paul and I made it to George Kay's place yesterday, to audition the XD9.
Even though I'm a Yamaha fan, I am very impressed with that board.

George is an amazing sales person, and I'm always impressed with the knowledge he has about all the boards.
He showed us the sounds styles and the features with such great enthusiasm and ease, that it was a great joy to see him demo the board.

We arrived around 10:30 am and George told us, that he had to leave at 1:00 pm.
He ended up staying until 3:00 pm. The whole time with us, answering every possible Question that we might have.
Wow that's what I call a great sales person.

Thanks again George, for your much appreciated time and your dedication.

I highly recomend anybody interested in a Keyboard to talk to George. You'll won't regret it.

I don't have to much to ad to the previous posts. Everything written about the XD9 is true. Sound and Styles in all, with very good features. A lot of bang for the bug.

You should try it if you get the chance, even if you are not a Ketron guy like me.
The drums are really amazing, so are the other sounds.

Thanks again George for a great day.

Eric

Eric,
I'm flattered! It's always a pleasure to see you and have some fun playing and talking about our love of arranger keyboards. I also enjoyed visiting with Paul and showing him around the store. Tell Paul more XD9 hard drives arrived today if he's interested!
I made it to Manhattan Beach by 6PM even though I left so late. Time really flies by when I get a chance to show my friends what we love to do, which is to play arranger keyboards.
Thanks again for the very kind words. It's friends like you that keeps my passion alive!

Hi Tom,

originally I was thinking to ad the XD3 to my 9000Pro.

We'll, ............ we bought a home on Saturday in Ventura instead
I guess the XD3 will be on the back burner for a litte while

As I said, if you have a chance, go and see it. It might be a nice addition to your set up.
Of course if you want to make a special trip down here to see George, you are always welcome to stay at our place.

George as you know I'm not just saying those words, I really mean it.
I will see Paul on Saturday at a Zoo party, but I'm sure he read your post. Even though he doesn't post much, he monitores the forum pretty much every day.

Eric
