Looks like Scott got back with the really first hand info on the HD. I was able to find that the Tyros will format the drive to a maximum of 40GB and it should fit physically (only 9.55 mm high) The Tyros can accomodate up to 12.5 mm. I wasn't thinking when I mentioned the Smart media card. Of course it will only work on the 3K. Thanks for your info on the cards.

Ron....as I said, the smart media cards on e-bay can be bought cheap if you try to by from the same seller, you can get combined shipping to lower the total cost....
