Great news : the display of the yamaha 9000 pro on your the pc monitor !

One of the small minor points of the yamaha 9000 pro was the too little display .
You need good eyes and you have to bow your backbone ,specially when you use the mixer console or the sequencer.
(therefore the tyros has now a bigger display and the possibility to stand it up.]
but , there is no reason for THAT purpose to buy a tyros , for yesterday I have found a good solution for a bigger display of the yamaha 9000.
You can see it on your pc monitor !
How ?
Yesterday I installed a video-card called : WINTV from HAUPPAUGE .
see www.hauppage.com version 4.6.
[I am using windows XP so you have to download a special driver for XP from that webpage ]
when you have installed all the stuff , [ very easy] click on CHAN at the window of WINTV.
You see : INPUT SOURCES.
open this , by clicking the +
Connect the yamaha 9000 pro video output with de input of the video card .
Select one of the 3 composites of the input sources and….. there is your display of the yamaha 9000 on your pc screen !
You can enlarge to a full screen l
The lines are sharp , and when you have your pc monitor in front of your musical keyboard , the use of the sequencer of your is great fun !
Also the lyrics and chord of your song !

I can also plug a PC monitor and a PC keyboard into the back of my PSR9000 to do the same thing. This should be possible on the pro also??

sorry , but you canNOT plug in a PC monitor into the back side of your PSR9000.[ or the 9000 pro]
that's is just the problem !
you can only plug in a PC keyboard.
and of course a TV monitor , but that is a very big thing !
