Just had some spec on the new keyboards from the Yamaha Club's Inter-Active magazine which I received
today, some of the information has already been submitted by Simon, apologies if it is duplicated.

1, Large PSR 9000 style display screen.
2, More than 700 orchestral voices.
3, Individual organ "flutes" as well as presets, (PSR 2000 only)
4, New improved amplification system.
5, Big style selection with more than 180 new accompaniment styles.
6, 3 Intro's ; 3 Endings ; 4 variations and 4 fill-in's.
7, Music Finder - Like the PSR 9000's database, but with registration settings linked to hundreds of actual
song titles.
8, Vocal Harmoniser.

"I appearance the new PSR 1000 and 2000 are very different from the PSR 640/740 they replace and, in line
with Yamaha's design policy of bringing features from top models into smaller instruments, it's good to see
that the PSR 9000's large display screen has found it's way into the smaller models"

Introducing the 'Music Finder'
"Another PSR 9000 success story has been it's registration database, which aligns hundreds of complete
set-up's (registrations) to popular song titles.
Music Finder takes this idea a stage further. The cryptic song titles have gone - replaced by full clear song
titles covering every imaginable style of music.
The 'Music Finder' database has a powerful search engine which, as those familiar with computer databases
will know, let's you find a specific setting by keying in specific search instructions - e.g. 1960's music."

Both keyboards should be appearing in the shops from late September.
Prices for the two instruments may change, but are expected to be around -:
