I have a 100 watt Polytone Mini/Tini Brute guitar amp that I no longer use. If you, or anyone else is interested, I'll let it go for $75 plus shipping. I used it for doing small, private parties for a few years and it worked just fine.

Yes, I used it with the 2000 and it sounded pretty good. It was the same scenario, a room of 16 X 28 with about a dozen people drinking and singing their hearts out. I ran the keyboard straight into the amp using the mono output, and it had all the punch you needed for a room of that size and larger. I also used it when I was playing some of the smaller senior centers with the PSR-5700 and PSR-740 and it sounded good with them as well. It obviously doesn't have the bottom end of a 15-inch Barbetta Sona 32, but there is sufficient punch to handle most of the small room venues.

If you're going to use more than one mic, you'll need to use a mixer, otherwise with a single mic, just plug into the 2000 and it will do an admirable job.
I bought the amp about 10 years ago to have as a spare. As UD and Donny will tell you, I'm a nut case about having spares. That's why I have two of just about everything. The amp was used a couple dozen times at most and is in excellent condition.
