Those that had a Va-7/76 state that there is not very much improvement to the G-70, which would be shocking from a consumer stand point. Who would spend the extra money for a small change. This also doesn't speak very highly of roland if ~3-5 years has passed since the VA-7/76 has been released and they haven't been able to make great strides in the yop model arranger/workstation market even with all the advances in technology that have come about in that time period.

So, I'm wondering if anyone has anymore insight into this?

Some details about additional G-70 feature compared to VA 7/VA 76

Hanspeter,
what is "Real time drum modification"?

And you should wright absent features list, beginning with style morphing...

Ailev,
'Real time drum instrument modification' means the functions SOUND EDIT DRUM SETS and
DRUM INSTR EDIT during a song or style is running.
I know, you'r missing STYLE MORPHING, we discussed it a few weeks ago. Another important
thing is VARY PHRASE. Roland people said, there are no many customer using these
functions?! Additional I miss the possibility selecting the voice for MELODY INTELLIGENCE
instument in some cases. I complained about that to Roland development. Till now I got
no respond.What shell we do?
