Well after working with the Fantom for a couple of weeks and watching the new ES video, I'm taking the Fantom back and trading it for the ES when GC gets them in.

Bottom line being the ES is just a much better value for the money.

I was watching your post on the motif forums RE: the screen size. I suggested some sort of projector. How about using a very "powerful spotlight"?

The new Motif ES LCD screen is "angled" to provide better viewing capability. We won't know how much an improvement that will be until we have a Mo' ES in front of us to look at. Also 'Jupitar5': - a magnifying glass that could be attached somehow (clamped), etc., to the Motif ES frame with small tubular support rods, etc.; with the magnifier adjusted to line of sight of the LCD screen would be something to consider.

Lamps would be good in the Studio perhaps but not appropriate or convenient for use on a Stage IMO. Besides, on a Stage you would usually already have some type of lighting anyway. But a Magnifier may just be the ticket.

Best regards,
Mike
