I thought maybe it was just a flip flopped PSR-1500, but it doesn't even match that boards button layout. Hey if something stands out that seems odd to me I'll start asking questions

Whatever it's a pic of it is flip flopped. If you look close in the bottom right corner of the pic you'll notice where the pitch or modulation wheel is (on the right) and that's just not normal However the problem is that the button configuration (from what I know) doesen't match anything Yamaha has out right now.

Because it's amazing how you noticed a detail that nobody else had noticed... and at the same time didn't spend a single word to comment the most important thing on that website: how the Tyros II sounds.
(This is not a negative remark: it's just that I am always fascinated to see how different we human beings are... )

Yeah your're right that is odd. I've alway been like that I guess. People are always telling me I pick up on things that they wouldn't have seen. I don't know maybe it's all those years I wanted to be a detective, and reading all those detective stories to solve the crimes

Could some other members please have a look at this picture and see if you can tell what model it is? I know I'm not going crazy, but the picture doesn't match up to anything (that I know) Yamaha has out at the moment.

The pic is flip flopped, but it still doesn't fit.....

It is a computer rendering of a non-existant keyboard.
Unless it's a prototype of Yamaha's next workstation
I've never seen black keys designed half grey as they appear on the picture.

If I were to use my imagination and try to identify the instrument shown, it might as well be the 76-key version of Tyros 2 - Tyros 2 Pro

It would be nice if it's a prototype, but it probably is a result of someone's "wishful" imagination.

It still raises question though
