I am looking for a good allrounder instrument which can do good styles/ and good sounds particularly organ (theatre/pipe/classical/jazz), grand piano - of calibre of say PSR9000 or KN6500. Has anyone tried XE1?

My other option (considering) is to buy a Roland Atelier organ which is twice the cost and seems to offer less styles and only floppy for storage....Or....Mega expensive Abacus Keyboard which seems user unfriendly but infinitely upgradeable.

(Currently have KN6000 upgraded to KN6500 with hard drive - OK but organ sounds are weak).

Hallo Tony,
if you want to find out some facts about Wersi Abacus pls check my post on the subject.I am playing it professionaly for 6 months now.
Better still, try to check it out yourself before you decide, even if you think its mega expensive. It will put the rest in another perspective.

Tony...A short answer is the XE1 is excellent, you can add the second keyboard & Pedals when required (XE2). It has style editing and 100 registrations which can a be saved to floppy and loaded again. Overall a very nice board to play.
