Hey I own a Roland G-800, and its a greeaat arranger for one man gigs. Heres the thing- I don't like the sounds it has (by sounds I mean voicings. The drum beats and all the accomp. is great) It's got one decent organ and some guitars. Pianos aren't good. Someone told me that there are ways to get other sounds that don't come with the keyboard and load them on (sound boxes or soemthing?). Does anyone know of this, and if it is possible? Thanx a lot.

The only way to add different sounds is to use an external module, like a Roland JV1010..
You can set the recieve and transmit channel, matching the module and a realtime part[upper1]..

Well thanx. That's really nice and all but you'll have to excuse me, I only speak English. Sorry to be of any inconveniences.

What Fran is saying is that there is no way to load new sounds into the G800. You can use the G800 to control an external module (box) that does contain sounds. You would have to purchase the module. Fran recommended one that he knows will work.
