A while back you wrote-
SD1:
I am curently developing a similar software for the SD1 and will be sending this to Dan O and George for review and distribution by end of the week. It will implement similar characteristics to those mentioned above.

This software WILL replace your current VOCALIZER settings, however they will optimize the performance of your Vocalizer (you'll want to store your current settings prior to loading these in should you want to resort to them in the feature).

Please contact the above dealers/me if you're interested (it's free).

UD: I figured out how to hold vocalizer settings while changing accom parts, reg etc on SD1. This will be incoorporated into the SD1 Vocalizer Software.

Thanks,

AJ

Can you tell me when this 'patch' will be available?

When the software revisions are issued by Ketron, are revisions also available (on the net) for the 'Owners Manual' & if so, what pages should be downloaded.
Thanks!

This Vocalizer-patch is available. Please contact Dan O or George Kaye.
When revisions are made to the OS, it usually incoorporates revisions made to the previous OS plus more functionality. This is usually documented on the web-page under the SOFTWARE category "New features of upgrade xx.xx".

AJ,
The only vocalizer file I have from you is for the X1. However, if a player downloads version 2.0 or 3.0 from the www.ketron.it website, will the changes be implemented within the newer software?
Thanks,
George Kaye

Hello AJ

I have another question for you, is it possible to remix old midifile-drums with new Live-drums with a SD-1?
(Like you wrote which is possible with a XD-3 And XD-9)
Thanks

Rene

A.J. & George-I see nothing mentioned in the last two SD-1 revisions-that clearly point out changes to the Vocalizer. In other words,A.J.- is this a patch you 'worked up' and gave to George and Dan for distribution as requested by SD-1 owners? If someone finds the patch, could you please forward a copy my way with install instructions.

A.J. -With reference to written material for the Rev 2 and 3 builds-I know its available on the net under 'New features of upgrade xx.xx' - but this should only be temporary information. Surely Ketron will produce proper modified pages -where necessary(on the net)to replace the out of date pages in the owners manual. Its hard enough for a new SD-1 owner to figure things out-without going to add- on reference pages for the latest software revision information.

George,
That software should work for both X-series and SD1 keyboards.

ReneT,
The direct 'Drum Remix' functions is currently not available on the SD1, however this feature can still be implemented by playing a MIDI file with an audio/wav sound or loop. In other words, you can assign (up to 8 loops/audio files) to 'replace' existing MIDI tracks of your MIDI file. This is even more extensive than the major 'Drum Remix' since you are replacing more than just the drum track.

Gord,
This is a patch I 'worked out' and gave to some dealers (based on user request) prior to my involvement with KETRON.

Thanks,

AJ

ReneT,
Pls see 'adjustments' to your question above. It IS possible to achieve DRUM REMIX on SD1 ... plus more, even though some minor adjustments will be required on the wav file(s) in use!
