Wow, Steve!!!
These voices look strangely familiar to the Motif ES voices in MotifMart. I have not tried these as yet, but are they in fact converted somehow from the Motif?

Steve, Wow! now I know WHY I own & continue to love my Yamaha Tyros keyboard (for nearly 2-1/2 years now). Many thanks for keeping the Tyros sounding FRESH with your new voice-edit additions. - Scott

Michael, Yes, I started with the voices that I made for PSR3000, but since the Tyros has many more options, I went through each one and fine tuned them for Tyros. And of course there are a couple hundred new voices that are not in the other collection. These will work with PSR1500/3000, but many of them will be lacking because the 1500/3000 don't have the DSP power of the Tyros.
Al,
No, these are not converted. THere's no way to do that with user voices.

Hi Steve
I also would like to thank you for your work on these voices. And for making them available to us. It is sure appreciated.
I notice on the arrangerworkstation site a whole bunch of styles for sale. Where are these from? I interested in the separate ones, that cost $9.95 (ouch!) apiece. Some of these look like MidiSpot styles. Are they? Anything you can tell me about this?

Steve,
I tested out some of these voices and effects. They are so darn good. Just a note of thanks. I especially like some of the new Growl Saxaphones and the Synth sounds. Very nice.
=============================================== Steve...is there a way we can access previous free downloads of voices for the PSR-3000? The one I just downloaded says "week12", so I assume there were previous downloads. Thanks for your anticipated response. Bruce Milne

Steve... Gotta chime in here with all the others who are appreciative of your efforts and the end results of the new voices. Very nice. And, makes me glad I am a Yammie guy.
any ideas when i try to transfer new voices from yamaha to my usb pen drive, i get message , ERROR COPYING FILE OR FOLDER, cannot copy xxxx the directory or file cannot be created, the only thing i can think of is maybe i have filled up the pen drive ,but not sure how i can check this, i have XP,cheers mike.

Thanks Steve!
I haven't tried them yet (I'm downloading them now as I write this), but from what others are saying they must be super.
Especially when Michael Bedesem says they're good. They MUST be good.
Thank you Steve for addressing this need for the Tyros. And thank you for all the time and effort you put in to make these gems.
Best regards, Mike
PS: Steve, if you ever want to try your hand at making some Multipads for the Tyros, then let me be the first to encourage you to do so. Multipads seem to be the only other category on the Tyros and PSR's that hasn't been addressed yet. At least in a significant way that is.
But don't get me wrong; the User Voices are very much appreciated regardless.
