Hi , i have Roland EM2000 and would like to know is it possible to store some sonds from MIDI file in Performance memory?
EX. I have and MIDI file wich has an solo with amazing EDITED sound , so i would like to keep it for myself in a Performance memory if it is possible?

When you play a Standard Midi File and the links to the real time[arranger]parts are on, the edited patches from the SMF will be in the temporary memory. You can save this into a Performance memorie. You can turn on the parts you want and turn off the ones you are not interested in, then resave to a performance location. When you want to use a performance patch with other styles or whatever, use the tone lock to retain the patch as you select other styles..Fran

Ok ok ... i found something in Mixer - Song menu but links on off i only have on "Sng Part" 2 , 3 , 4 , 6 , 10 , 13 , 14 , 15 and as i can see that patch i like is on part 1 ....

You can go into your midi parameter and change the recieve parts/channels. For example change song part 1 to match upper 1[channel4], and change 4 to 1..Fran
