Hi all,

Finally, I played XD9, to the side of PSR2000 and PA60: all of three at similar price (1110 $ at Synthplanet)..

But I must say XD9 was a great surprise, because its sounds, styles and its building at all. It seems to be a more profesional and well built keyboard than others, specially than PSR. It weights 16 kg!! (PSR only 10,5 kg.), and it has some richer possibilities, more Mb for sounds (24),
not vocal harmonizer but micro input with posibility for two micros, drum remix in midi files, compatibility whith all solton styles (SD1 too), posibility for hard disk, flash card... And, specially, beautiful drums, richness of sounds and styles; its piano sound seems to me specially good.

But I read most of you prefer PSR at this price range, perhaps for more help and more styles on the net.
So, my question is: At same price than PSR2000 or PA60, doesn't it seems a better option? If not, why?
What XD9 bad things I haven't seen?
In what PSR is better? Only because it has more users, more help and more styles on the net?

Artaher ,

I don't think you will find any surprises . The XD9 is a very good value .

Ketron basically allows for add on's such as hard drive , vocal kit , pattern expansion and video interface .

A basic XD9 w vocal kit would be equal to the PSR2000 , but just a little bit more money than a PSR2000 ( in USA) .

XD9 is a very nice keyboard with great sounds ! Have fun .

I have Xd series in stock .
I have Sd1 in stock .
I have KN7000 in stock .
I have a VA76 coming on Monday .
I just talked with Korg Wednesday . I should have the PA60/80 by mid October .
I have not bought a Genesys yet , but I am working on it .
I'm still working on Tyro's authorization .

I will have a Tyro's at the store one way or another . Just for comparison sake !

Piano Man in Baltimore is growing into a nice east coast arranger store .

Plus ....I have a great selection of home digital pianos . I just got in the Casio arranger piano with the light guide system.
The light guide is a really cool learning tool . This piano sells for less than $3K .

I almost have every product line covered .
Thanks to 0% financing !

take care .....dano

Artaher,
That is the best price I've ever heard for the new XD9. Let say at $1200.00 US I got it delivery at my home is super! I am not sure who else can beat this price. Does anyone know how much for the cost to have the HD included ?

Danny:

The following prices (they are LIST prices, not final prices) should give you an idea of the optional HD costs. Prices in Euros at the portuguese dealer.

XD 9 : 1882
XD 9 HD : 2290
XD 3 : 1618
XD 3 HD : 2024

According to my dealer, the X1 vocalizer fits perfectly in a XD9/3.

I have an XD3 (without HD) in order from Synthplanet for 948 dollars, tax and shipment included. I should then be able to add an HD for less than 100 dollars, from a computer store.

They have on stock the XD9 right now, ready for shipping, so I assume that Ketron has just begun to deliver. The XD3 should follow soon (I hope).
