For a long time I kept trying to find my own niche in electronic music, and I have finnaly found it. NEW AGE/WORLD. Now I know some of you are goping think this is strange in my choice of music, but to me I find it to be more pleasing to the ears, and relaxing. Also I am not to find of tradtional instrumets found in most keyboards, pianos, organs, guitars etc... What really got me into want to play this type of music was a particular patch on the Korg Trtion Le. It was labled Indian Ocean. this to me was a really cool patch, espisally since it had a sequnced loop to it. So that I cold hold down one key with my left hand and heave this realy cool base line, and to a cool melody in my right hand. Also becus this patch did not use tradtional Western instruments, but Eastern instead.

Anyway to get back to my main question. Does anyone play in this style?

New age music is great! I write a little of my own and one of my favorite artists in the genre is Andreas Vollenweider. I have a Triton LE too!

I don't play any (yet!) but lately I have been taking a fancy to some.

If you haven't heard Torchlight Creek, check it out.

I found Ken Hill's bio interesting. He also has personal tips and info links that can be helpful.

Cool! At the present I do not have enough money to buy a Triton Le. So it's going to be a while before I can get one. Korg has a Sample CD for the Trtion Le called "Global Village" Which is recordings of various ethnic instruments from around the world.

Cool web site Mr. ED.

Okay I can not afford to buy a Triton Le, insufficent funds. I guess I will have to think of something else.

What about one of the Korg "N" Series? Or Maybe a Trinty?
