Spring is sprung
The grass is riz
I wonder where the birdies is?

and what's more to the point - where is spring?
Here in UK , we still have the depths of winter - snow, ice, frost, fog and temps below zero!
Hope you guys elsewhere are warm as toast and knee deep in daffodils instead of snow

Not in the Northeast part of the US of A !!! ... outside this building (in Rhode Island) it is 42 degrees, and with only a slight breeze it feels a lot colder ... the mid-west is being hit by snow ... summer can't come soon enough ...
The daffs starting growing during a fairly warm couple of days 2 weeks ago ... don't know what they are thinking now !?! ....

Hi Eddie

Down here on the South Coast UK (Portsmouth) its no different, there has not been a noticable rise in temperatures since January.
Exactly a year ago it was a pleasant 21c and rising? this year it has'nt got much above 8c. Its been a long cold winter and contiunes to be for the forseable future apparently.
Don't put you winter jumpers away just yet!

Noel.

Pretty nasty here in the mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. today. Forecast is for sleet, snow and rain with temperatures in the mid 30s. When you've surpassed your 65 birthday, spring isn't here until the temperature hits 75 degree f.

Cheers,

Gary

Come on down to Louisiana! The grass is green, in fact needs mowing.
We ARE expecting a cold snap the next few days, with lows around 40 and highs only near 60.
For the past few weeks it has been around 80.

It's cold up here in Toronto, Canada as well, minus 15C with the wind chill. Patience, patience, the days are getting longer, the sky is very bright. A couple more weeks max.
The weatherman said that in Canada this year and this winter has been the warmest ever recorded. Now will scientist believe that global warming is here. (ok maybe not this week).

thanks to all for your weather reports.
I kinda thought that it would "spring" a few surprises.

The global warming thingie seems to be really with us, except it should be called global storming.
As for Gary who wants 75 degrees, our best forecast here in UK is that it will be about midday on the 18th July , so don't hold your breath.
Also looks as if we should emigrate to Louisiana and play some golf with Don.
cheers
Eddie

78 in S. Florida....but heading into hurricane season. I'd rather be a bit chilly.

Looks like some of you folks need to move to Western Colorado. Believe it or not Denver had a blizzard yesterday. We're clear across the mountains from Denver. We're up in the high 50's to low 60's. With the dry climate here it's great. We've already cut the grass twice and had the lawn aerated today. Another few weeks we'll put the tomatoes and squash in.
What's neat is it snowed three days last week about a couple of inches each time and low and behold it was melted by noon the next day and was in the high 50's again. Of course this is unusual for this time of year for this area.
No place on earth is like this place. We have retired military people here that were stationed all over the world and they tell about the beautiful places they've been and chose Grand Junction for the mountains and the wonder climate.
It just sucks for the opportunity to play music.
