Hi everybody.

I just purchased a Psr-2100 and "out of the box", I noticed that buttons in right column of the screen are much softer than the others. It is not reassuring...But they work.
The click is less frank than for all other buttons (especially compared with those to the left of the screen), we would say them used.
Is it the same thing(matter) on yours ?

Please reassure me.

I wish I could, but I believe that the construction of the 2100 is it's weakness. I already dumped a 2000 because the buttons SANK into the case. Treat it like a child and it MIGHT last a while, but don't get your hopes up. It has a pretty good track record with other players here, but I absolutly HATE the feel of the keys AND the buttons. It's junk compared to what I'm used to, but it sounds good and it's light, so ... sigh...........

No problem with buttons. I used 2000 five nights a week or so for more than two years, and have used the 2100 for three months now. Of course I don't beat on it either. I play it.

Hmmmmm. don't beat on it - interresting concept! Coming from a history with well built gear, that's something that I take for granted. I want the option to spank it now and then ! (easy boyz)

I do sorta baby my kb. I found that, after a certain point, it doesn't get any louder if you hit it harder.
Probably the fact that I never really played much "real" piano helps.
But I remember back in the late seventies having to have all my organ keys and action replaced because I broke it from playing too hard. It was very expensive.
