I'm leaving now to play golf. Temperature will be in low 70's today. No wind, bright sun.
Too bad the Yankees won't be here this week!

Yesterday's high here was a brisk 30, dropped to 18 last night, and now we're peaked out at 44. As Jimmy Buffett said "I gotta' go where it's warm."

Fran,

Donny and Dave are thinking about heading south to my neighborhood to Dan0's and demo the midjay, then gobble down some fabulous Maryland style steamed crabs and some brewskis. Then I'll burn a couple filet mignons for you before you head back to the frozen north. Oh Yeah!

Cmon down.

It reached mid 70's. Also my score was mid 70's so everything worked out.
I'll be interested to hear how the Midijay works out.

Don my vocabulary isn't big enough to explain how hard it was to leave New Orleans and head home in October. If you don't cut these type post out I'm going to have to dig around my house and find my 18 year old prescription of Elavil or Pamelor. Please man talk about recorders keyboards or something else.

I actually played pretty well yesterday and shot 75. The greens are dormant and they didn't overseed them because we have such a short period where they don't grow. As a result they are extremely fast but also very smooth. Can't wait to get out there today!
After this week, I probably won't have much time to play for a while. I'm sitting here now, looking out the back door at the course while Boo is up there in Colorado shoveling snow off the driveway!

Don yesterday and this morning until about noon it looked like N.O. La. on a rainey cold day in January.

Now the sun is shining to beat the band. Man I hope it's a nice winter. I got three brick jobs coming up. I hope I don't have to cover with plastic and heatwith propane.

My Wife said if I do these jobs I can get a new Laptop and a Tascam recorder. Man life is tuff sometimes, ain't it?

Wow, is there no end to this friend's talent?!
An 'easy on the ear' music maker and a golfer with a +3 rating.
Seems to me you deserve to be able to look out your back door straight onto the greens.
Envy.Envy.Envy!!!
Thanks Don for your great contributions to this Forum this year. Have a wonderful New Year 2005
Cheers

Well, yesterday was a terrible day here. The temperature only reached the low 60's, and there was a shower that lasted about 30 minutes. Maybe today will be better.
Everybody have a great New Years's Eve!
I'll be playing at Longview, TX, so I'll have to leave about 6:00 p.m. It's only an hour away, so I'll be safe in bed by around 3:00 a.m. New Year's Day. That should be enough sleep to make the 1:00 tee time!
