I would like to compare the VA-7 to the EM-2000, do you know any of the diffrences between the two.

MC.
Most of the differences lie in the interface of the two. The EM2000 soounds are also in the VA7. Most of the styles are similar. The sequencer, effects, zip drive, style creator are all very similar. Most players find the EM2000 faster to move around than the VA7. The big difference is that the VA7 has one more entire bank of new sounds, 128 vs 64 voice polyphony and a vocal sampler called a Varaphrase Sampler. The EM2000 has been discontinued for about 1 year now and so the only new choice can be the VA7.

mc,

I can make you some demo's. I own the VA-7 for about 2 months now and it sounds great to me. Just tell me what kind of things you're looking for and I will see what I can do!

Hi Sander, Great to hear that you are enjoying your new VA-7. I too would love to hear songs created by you on your VA-7. I am particularly interested in swing, latin, or pop styles, but (most of all) would enjoy hearing any arranger keyboard tunes created by you as well as other co-members of this great keyboard forum.

MC: You can also hear fine music produced on the VA-7 by Dreamer (Andrea Rotolo) at: http://andrearotolo.tripod.com/dreamer/

Hi Scott,

I already recorded yes ! 2 ! songs for my upcoming CD. I already got the songs of Dreamer, but didn't reconise them as recorded on a VA-7, how stupid of me because I own one myself!

The 3rd song that I'm going to record is the song from Green Day - Good Riddance (Time of your live).

I will keep you posted.. Why don't you get online by the way on ICQ?
