Does anyone have an idea of the sounds/styles of this new keyboard vs the VA series? IMO the EXR series doesn't compare at all (to the VA) and I'm hoping the GW does because I'm seeking an inexpensive stratch pad.

VA is still much better than GW-7, but they differ very much also from price range point of view.
If you don't need far east sounds, EXR is better than GW.
