All I can say is........WOW!!! I really like the way that Yamaha builds upon previous models. The guitars are worth the admission alone and the operating system is user friendly. The panel is beautuful, the touch is very improved and I am very very happy with my keyboard decision. This is ONE inspiring product..

Hey Zuki! Congratulations on your move to Tyros. Having owned mine since last December, its terrific sounds, styles, ease of navigation, and great keyboard feel, continue to inspire my live musical performance, both in the studio and out on the road gigging. - Scott

Hello Zuki,

Would you care to make any comparisons between your new Tyros and your Roland VA-76?

Thanks all. Having fun!
Mike - VA comparisons: Well, I certainly am not qualified to write for Electronic Keyboard Magazine, but a few thoughts.
1. The VA acoustic piano was my favorite, but I feel the Tyros bridged that gap with their Warm Grand patch.
2. The VA styles are unique and more pro oriented, but the Tyros' mega style usage is phenonmenal and I give the style nod to Tyros.
3. I think I like the VA-76 key feel a tad better, but it's almost indistinquishable with the Tyros.
4. The Variphrase adds an extra touch but not necessary in the my purchase choice.
5. I liked the touchscreen, but the Tyros is more to my liking now.
6. I haven't even explored the digital studio, which is unavailable on the VA.
7. The VA manual is more helpful, but I don't mind stretching my brain if it's not manual clear.
In summary, the VA kept me interested, but the Tyros is making me lose sleep.
Thanks for asking,
Zuki

Thanks for comparing the Tyros to VA76... I wud still choose the VA76 though...for the better sounds in the male/female voices and better drum sets..
