I down loaded an Akai sample from the web. I unzipped it on the desktop and appeared a .tdo file.
I opened Sample Player (an Akai sample reader)on the Pulsar II soft-ware, BUT I CANNOT FIND ANY .tdo FILE ON MY DESKTOP.
What have I to do to read unzipped .tdo files on my hd?
Thanks

I don't know about reading a .tdo sample on your computer, but there's a program called Teledisk which will write a .tdo file onto a diskette in your A: drive. Once it's done the job you just put the diskette into your sampler and load the sample as if it had come straight from another Akai sampler. It's not the most time-efficient way of putting new sounds into your Akai, but it works. Sorry I can't remember where I got my copy of Teledisk, but I'm sure you can get hold of it through a search engine.
