I saw return of the king with my son . And speaking of my son , what a great age 9 1/2 to 10 has been .In the last 5 months, my son starting watching football with me and is teaching me how to use playstation .
We even talked me about when a boy's voice changes . lol ........

So, we went to see the movie and I was simply amazed . Great flick . I did see 1 +2, but I kept track by asking my son what was happening .

btw..I also think "saving private ryan" is an all time favorite .

Dan I kid you not

While I'll concede that Lord of the Rings was good...ok ok it was great.....still its too long and that kinda ruins it for me...lots of people were walking out of the cinema from approx 20 minutes before the end. It should have ended about 20 minutes earlier...each time you thought it was going to end...it went on and on...

lol I'm more of an action/sci-fi fan and I enjoyed Terminator 3 more than Lord of the Rings. I'd still give Lord of the Rings 8.5 out of 10 though

LOTR was o.k. Good visual effects. I never read the books so that made it more difficult to follow.
Slingblade is my all time favorite. Love Billy Bob Thornton.

None of these movies today are worth the
$10.00-$15.00 ticket addmission....& times that by your family members!!!!
Heck I can see them for $3.95 to Free..
on cable in the confort of my home at my leisure a few weeks after their releases, without loud crowds, cell phones going off in theaters, here we even have a
"First 15 Minute No Like Rule" that you can leave the movie theater go to the booth and get your money back, which happenes very frequently...
Serious Acting is definitly NOT what it used to be and is at an all time low...sadley its all about money not talent IMO.

Thank God For AMC Channel

Lord of the rings is ok to me. I have seen only the first part so far but going to see others too.

Basicly I watch very little TV because of my working hours. But when I do, would probably be COPS or what ever worth watching.. LOL!!

Donny, my wife, son and I went to see LOTR one afternoon during Christmas. We went to the matinee, so the prices weren't that bad.
What IS bad is popcorn was $6.00, a cold drink (small) $4.00, M&Ms $3.00. Give me a break! I smuggled in a jar of peanuts and a Diet Rite Cola.
