I wish I had not tried that PA80.
It makes comparison to other keyboards TOUGH due to its excellent key feel and excellent sounds !!

But the keyboard operation is AWKWARD !!!

what to do...what to do...

maybe I just get a Casio WK1800 and wait until someone makes a keyboard that I like.

Someone pls don't let me make this horrible decision....... buying a CASIO....Oh nooooo !!!

Lukitoh,
For what you want the Casio will not satisfy your needs.... Especially in the sound department... Most of the sounds on the WK1800 were just carried over from the CTK series... Only a few of those sounds were taken from Casio's flagship MZ-2000.. There are only 6 tracks for recording, plus when recording style you cannot loop or overdub in style recording mode either... The only plus I see with the WK is better action, and 76 keys. As far as sound quality and features the WK-1800 pales in comparison to the PA-80/60 and the PSR-1000/2000, Oh when I say better action I'm comparing that to the PSR line up.. If I were you I'd take the PA series or the PSR series... The WK-1800 really wouldn't suit your needs.. Granted it probably would make a nice 76 key controller...

You want this PA60? I'm just going to return it and trade up to a secong PA80 in a few weeks anyway. It's got most of the warrentee left on it! (It's more than the wk1800, but it's WORTH more too !)
