Is there any way that you can have memory hold on a PSR 550 for the left-hand voice while in the auto-accompanament mode? My Yamaha organ and other keyboards I have owned had this feature, but I can't find anything that would lead me to believe that the PSR 550 has that capability.

Thanks,
Tom Blackburn (New PSR 550 owner)

Tom,
I checked my PSR550 at my store today and I couldn't find a hold function for the left hand voice. I looked everywhere possible and never found it.

Tom,
Welcome to the arranger keyboard forum and congrats on your PSR550. I am not aware that the PSR550 has a hold option, but you could, of course, add a pad sound to the style, and save it as a new style.
My Roland EM20 has this option in organ/split mode, but you can't run organ and arranger mode together. I wasn't aware that you could do this on the PSR550, until you pointed that out.
Just curious as to why you want this? Many styles have a pad playing during accompaniment anyways.

P.S. I am a PSR550 owner as well as SqueakD on this forum. Marilyn is also purchasing a PSR550.

I've ordered a PSR 550. I hope I like it when it gets here. Do you all have good to say about yours?

I had wondered about that left voice. I had downloaded the manual for it and I couldn't tell if you had voice on the left with the arranger on. At least I know the answer to that now!

You can use the left voice and arranger function at the same time. Currently for what all it offers I still think it's the best on in its price range. For what you pay it's well worth it.
