I am using a Tascam.

They make a unit called the Vocal Trainer. It has a CD player, inputs for two mikes and a selection of preset effects. Sounds great and it fits in my hand. Sure makes it easy to set up for a gig.

Replaces CD player, mixer and effects boxes for 149US. I strongly recommend it.
