You might want to search for drum risers. Here's some plans I found:

Leon, thanks. I got your email but for some reason couldn't open the .img or .wpg files you sent. What Windows program(s) do they open with?

Jim, the Pro: Thanks for the link to the drum riser plans. I think this might be a good economical option. btw: Another advantage to having a portable riser is for performing at street fairs, where the audience is typically 'standing' around you rather than seated. By utilizing a riser here, it will ensure that you're up higher, whether you're seated or standing while playing the kb.

Not trying to offend anyone, but if I have to play down in a hole, I'm not carrying anything else and I'm only moving once a month. Ha! Ha1 I'm even about to ditch my extra harmony machine with the extra cable and fuss.

All I want is my keyboard, my book with lyrics, the sax and a Genz Benz (AC 100 Shenadoah) or maybe the Lil' Green Monster again.

I carry enough crap doing brick-work to build a house for every little stinking job I do. I may start playing just the harmonica and sing on the street corner. Ha! Ha!

hey Boo. I too ALWAYS want to travel as light as possible. Don't worry I don't plan to take a stinkin riser to most gigs, but when a special venue setup comes up which calls for one, it would be nice to have something like this on hand. Rental fees are typically high, and it seems that a portable drum riser similar to what the Pro came up with might be a good economical option. Clients typically foot the bill for riser rental so this way I could charge them to rent mine instead of them going to the rental company. Just a thought. Who knows. - Scott

Try checking out www.rollingriser.com .

I have one of these risers and they are awesome!

They are really space saving for storage, and I don't need any tools to take it apart or put it together.

After I get my drum kit set up off stage just how I want it, I can roll the whole riser and drum kit wherever I need it. No problem!

These would be great for keyboards or other instruments also. Check it out and see what you think!
